Mingary Castle

Mingarry castle is a medieval castle that stands on a rocky outcrop on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, just east of the village of Kilchoan. This impressive castle once served as the former stronghold of the MacIains and has recently been restored. Experience the best of Highland hospitality by either staying in one of the lavishly furnished suites or simply enjoy a fine dining experience in the fine oak panelled dining room.

The restuarant is run by chef Colin Nicholson who has 3AA Rosette experience and strives to showcase the best of what the West Coast of Scotland has to offer.  There is a daily changing six couse tasting menu with optional wine pairing. After dinner, why not take a stroll on the terraced walk-way for some stunning coastal views or a stargazing safari?

Booking is essential and a smart casual and formal dress code is recommended to fit in with the elegant surroundings.

This is a unique experience where you can immerse yourself in the romance, history and sumptuousness of a medieval castle. Treat yourself!
